CHARTER SCHOOLS
Branding and websites designed to grow enrollment, and built to meet the accessibility and transparency standards charter schools are held to. With Elevator, you’ll have a brand you are proud of, built on a foundation ready to meet every legal requirement.
In May 2026, Act 123 added ten new items every South Carolina charter school must publish on its website, from board policies and the annual budget to the audit and a register of every expense over one hundred dollars. Two of them, the transaction register and the credit card statements, must be posted monthly. For an office that already wears three hats, that is a new and permanent job.
New required postings added in 2026
Every required document is mapped to a Google folder in your own Workspace and wired to the page it belongs on. When a new posting is due, you drop the file in its folder and the site automatically publishes it. Built once, that structure helps you keep your site compliant forever, with no webmaster, no WordPress login, and no page that quietly falls out of date.
WHAT WE DO
Built to work together, from the brand foundation up.
BRANDING
A brand your school owns.
A brand built from who you are, who you serve, and what makes your school the right choice. Identity, logo, color, and typography that give your school a distinct, consistent look across everything. Already have a solid brand? We roll right into the website.
WEBSITES
A website that works.
Designed around the parent’s decision, from first impression to enrollment, and built compliance-ready. Your site will be clear, accessible, and easy for your team to keep current – and compliant – after launch.
built compliance-ready
A charter school website carries obligations a business website does not. We build for those legal requirements from the start, and we build them in a way your team can maintain, so keeping the site compliant after launch is as simple as dropping a document in a folder.
Accessibility as a standard.
WCAG 2.1 AA is built into every site we deliver, not sold as an add-on. Charter schools are public entities under ADA Title II, with an April 2028 deadline. We treat it as the floor.
Transparency that is findable.
Pages are structured so the required documents families, boards, and your authorizer expect to see are easy to find, not buried.
Postings that stay current.
Postings like budgets, agendas, minutes, and audits go live by dropping a file in a folder. No webmaster, no WordPress login, no page that quietly goes stale.
Every requirement, mapped.
Every required item maps to a fixed place on the site and its own Google folder, so staying current is as simple as dropping in the document. Nothing guessed at, nothing left out.
PRICING
WE start with the brand
EXISTING BRAND
$0
We take a look first. Many school brands started out strong, but over the years file quality has degraded or guidelines have been ignored and there is no longer consistency. If your brand can already carry a website, a building sign, and a jersey, we skip the brand work and roll straight into the website build, at no brand cost.
BRAND REPAIR
$425
For schools with a good brand but no high quality files, or inconsistent implementation, we refine what you already have, and build the guidelines that will protect your brand.
Charter Brand Kit
$1,000
For new schools, or schools wanting to rebrand to something new, we take you through our complete branding process.
THEN we build THE WEBSITE
Every build includes the pages a charter school actually needs, organized into three parts: your story, your community, and your transparency records. You get a complete site out of the box, no guessing about what is required or where it goes. Need something beyond the standard set? Additional pages can be quoted on an as-needed basis.

how transparency works
Your Transparency page is the home for everything the law requires you to publish. The financial and board records link straight to your Google folders, so they stay current when your team drops in a file. The required policies, things like Title IX, FERPA, and non-discrimination, are linked as documents rather than built as separate pages, which keeps them easy to update and keeps your site lean. You get every required item in one findable place, without twenty extra pages to maintain.

The Website Maintenance and Hosting Plan, $150 a month, required after launch, covers managed hosting, backups, and security. The built-in folder structure included in the design lets your team keep required documents current for free. Additional site updates can be quoted. Extended payment plans available upon request.
A charter school site carries transparency and accessibility obligations a business site does not. South Carolina law requires you to publish a specific list of documents where the public can find them, and public-entity sites also have to meet accessibility standards. We build for both from day one, so the site holds up when someone checks it.
We are a build rather than a subscription-based service, so more of the cost sits at the start. After that, the picture shifts. A subscription keeps charging month after month for something that never becomes yours, while our cost mostly settles at launch, with the only ongoing monthly charge being our Website Maintenance & Security Plan at $150/month. Give it a few years and most schools have spent less with us. The real difference is ownership. When you stop paying a platform, the site goes with it. With us, all of it is yours to keep: the brand, the website, the domain, and the Google structure. You are building an asset, not renting one.
It means every document the law requires you to publish has a correct, labeled, working place on your site, linked to a folder in your own Google Drive. The pages exist, the links work, and the sharing is set correctly. We build the structure, you add the documents. The site is compliant once you drop each file into its folder, and that part stays with you.
Act 123 took effect May 15, 2026. It amended Section 59-40-50 of the South Carolina Code and added ten new items every charter school must publish on its website: current bylaws, all board policies, the annual and operating budget, any school debt, the annual financial audit, a transaction register of every expense over one hundred dollars, credit card statements, the management organization contract (where applicable), and notice of board elections at least thirty days out. It applies to every public charter school in South Carolina regardless of who authorizes you, and two of the ten have to be updated every month.
The requirement comes from the state of South Carolina, not from your authorizer’s audit form. If your site was built using an audit form prior to May 2026, your site is likely out of compliance.
Yes. Every site meets WCAG 2.1 AA, the standard behind the ADA, and it is included at every price rather than sold as an add-on. Charter schools are public entities, and therefore required to be ADA compliant by April 2028. Connecting your documents through Google helps here too. Files kept as real Google Docs and Sheets stay searchable and can be translated automatically, so a transaction register is readable and a parent using a screen reader or another language can actually get to the information, which is exactly what accessibility is meant to protect.
Sometimes. If you are on WordPress and the site is structurally sound, yes, we can add the compliance architecture into what you already have, and that is usually the cheaper and better call. If you are on Wix, Squarespace, Weebly, a district system, or something custom, then no, moving to WordPress is a full rebuild. We tell you which situation you are in on the first call, not three weeks later.
You almost certainly already do, and that is the point. We use Google to connect your required documents, since most schools already live in it. Keeping them as real Google Docs and Sheets carries a real advantage too, because those files stay searchable and can be translated automatically, which is part of what keeps the site accessible and compliant. Everything stays in your own Google account, never ours, so nothing has to move and no links break if we ever part ways.
Maybe not. If you have high quality files, and you are not renaming, we simply use what you have at no brand cost. If the logo is fine but the files and colors are damaged or inconsistent, we rebuild it properly (Brand Repair, $425). Our full build, the Charter Brand Kit, is $1,000 and is only needed when your current brand system is too deteriorated to use or when you are renaming.
The website is $13,500 in total, delivered over an 8-10 week build. The cost is divided into four equal payments due at project start, week three, week six and launch. Brand work, where you need it, is $425 or $1,000 depending on scope, and nothing at all if you already have usable files and a working brand. Hosting and security is $150 a month, starting at launch. There is nothing above that. We do not sell a compliance-monitoring plan or a marketing retainer on top, because the structure helps you keep the site compliant yourself, and marketing can be fulfilled by your staff and through your relationship with your authorizer.
About eight to ten weeks total. Brand work, if you need it, adds about three to four weeks. The pace is set almost entirely by how quickly we get what we need from you, including: your brand and logo (created by us or delivered to us), feedback on design decisions, your documents, and your staff information.
Yes, in year one, a full site build is more expensive. The difference is what you are left with. A subscription is a bill that never stops and a site you never own. Ours is a one-time build that becomes your asset, yours to keep, hand off, or take anywhere. After launch you pay only for hosting and security, and within a few years most schools have spent less than they would have on a subscription site.
You do. The domain, hosting account, website, Google Drive structure, every credential, and your analytics are all in the school’s name, and we hand them over. It is standard WordPress with no proprietary page builder, so you can leave us at any point and take everything with you.
Yes. Beyond the required pages, we connect the tools your school already runs on, tour scheduling, enrollment, forms, sign-ups, a store, and your social feeds. Tell us what you use now and we will give it a place. Compliance is the part that must be exact. The rest of the site is yours to shape around your families.
Yes, though changes made after launch are a paid service, not part of the original build. Anything outside the agreed scope or build period, such as a new page, a new feature, photo or video updates, a seasonal campaign, or a larger redesign, is quoted on an as-needed basis. Just tell us what you need, and we will send a clear quote before any work begins.
No. We are based in South Carolina and know the charter landscape here well, and we work with charter schools anywhere. Act 123 is South Carolina law, but the accessibility and transparency approach applies wherever you are authorized. We can adjust the build to fit your state’s specific legal requirements.
Our oldest son graduated from a charter school, and our youngest son is a current student, so we know what these schools mean to the families who choose them, and what a website has to do to earn a parent’s trust.
LET’S TALK
Tell us where your school is. We will map the path to a strong brand and a compliance-ready site you fully own.
